Waterfowl Expo - Scheels Sporting Goods in Sioux Falls will be hosting their first annual Waterfowl Expo on August 8.  Highlights will include the South Dakota State Duck and Goose Calling Championships, the Super Retriever Series, and seminars on calling, dog training and hunting tactics given by some of the biggest names in the duck and goose hunting world.  Numerous vendors will also be on sight to introduce new products for this fall.

Reservation Recreation, July 4, 2009 - Russel Stubbles from South Dakota State University is leading an effort to bring fishing rods, reels and tackle to youth on the reservations across South Dakota.  Anyone interested in donating items can drop them off at a nearby division office of the SD GF&P or bring them to Stubbbles office in the Parks and Recreation Department at SDSU.
